God equips His people to serve Him and help others. The Bible describes spiritual gifts given to believers through the Holy Spirit, with different people serving in different ways. This lesson explores the purpose of these gifts and how they contribute to the growth and work of the church.
The lesson explains that spiritual gifts are not given for competition or personal recognition. They are given for the benefit of the whole community of believers. It considers the relationship between the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts, the different roles within the church, and how believers can discover and use their abilities in service. It also emphasises that spiritual gifts do not remove the responsibilities shared by every Christian.
